Description
Miniaturized AKG C408 condenser clip-on hypercardoid microphone with frequency response tailored to percussion instruments. Mic simply clamps on the top hoop of the drum. Response optimized for drums. Special mic for tom-toms, snare drum, bongos, congas, and timbales. Vintage quality musical instruments and tools
Hyper-cardioid polar pattern which rejects sound leakage from behind and records from the front making it ideal for on-stage vocal applications and live recording. The signal-to-noise ratio of this Clip-on microphone is 56dB, ideal for miking drums, which produces optimum sound quality. The frequency response of this AKG condenser microphone is around 50Hz to 20 kHz which works well on different miking applications reducing the proximity effect. The shock-mount system in this Clip-on microphone helps reduce external vibrations and noise when hit with a drumstick. A two-angle adjustment arm in the AKG C-408 makes way for appropriate microphone alignment during performances.
