Nice vintage Somax No. 250 saw set pliers with 4-12 TPI adjustable wheel. Antique MCM made in Japan collectible sawing and cutting specialty hand tool used for setting saw teeth when sharpening your hand saws.
Like the Stanley 42X it has a plunger that first grips the blade and then the setting pin contacts the tooth. Heavy die-cast alloy with anti corrosive surface treatment. The steel head is hardened and tempered completely.
